Guide to Flight Case Types: Choosing the Right Protection for Your Gear
Trying to decide which flight case is right for your needs? This helpful guide breaks down the different types of flight cases we offer and their key features, helping you make an informed choice. Our goal is to deliver amazing protection solutions tailored to protect your equipment.

Rack Flight Cases
Rack cases are versatile flight cases, offered in a range of styles to fit nearly any requirement. Whether you need a Standard Rack Case , Foam Shockmount Case, Suspended Shockmount Case, or a Slam Lid Rack Case, we have a rack case to suit your needs.
Racks have a standard height measurement, known as a "Rack Unit" or "U", which is used to measure the size you require. The width is often 19" with the depth of the case being selected depending on your requirements. It is easy to purchase multiple rack cases that can work in sync with each other whilst still allowing the user to use cases individually.
We also offer a variety of optional features, including castors, adjustable feet, different lid depths, and various rack-to-rack sizes to accommodate your equipment precisely.
Trunk Flight Cases
Trunk cases are among the most versatile and popular flight cases on the market, widely used across nearly every industry. We offer options ranging from our budget-friendly Standard Road Trunks to our Heavy Duty Euro Truckers, providing choices to suit a variety of needs, sizes, and budgets.
Our trunk cases are designed to be highly adaptable, with customisable interiors that can be reconfigured for different tasks, making them extremely versatile. Internal options include full foam lining, dividers, and trays.

Briefcase Flight Cases
Briefcase style flight cases are a portable, secure case type, offering protection in a small, sleek box. Designed for smaller, delicate items and are ideal for laptops, tools, marketing and demo units to name a few.
Lightweight and compact, briefcase flight cases are easy to carry and paired with custom foam can be ideal to keep your delicate equipment organised and safe.
Pull Along Flight Cases
Pull-Along Flight Cases offer a perfect mix of portability and durability, designed to effortlessly move your equipment. Fitted with recessed corner wheels and a pull-along handle, allowing for bulky/heavier items to be easily handled when moving and navigating spaces such as airports, live venues, and more.
Ideal for awkward items that are frequently moved or are delicate, such as demo units, LED lights, or computers/monitors, with the interior designed to hold any item precisely.

'Wardrobe' Flight Cases
A wardrobe/retail style flight case offers a perfect mix of durability and practicality. Designed to function as both a protective transport solution and a display unit, these cases are ideal for creating a pop-up shop wherever needed. They often feature compartments such as hangers and shelving, allowing users to efficiently organise and showcase clothing or retail items on the go.
Commonly used by fashion brands, touring acts, and retailers, these cases provide a convenient and secure way to transport stock while doubling as a functional display or storage unit at events, trade shows, and temporary retail spaces.
Shallow Base Flight Case
A shallow base style flight case is a protective transport case designed with a reduced base depth, allowing for easier access to equipment while maintaining durability and security.
Ideal for any equipment that may require frequent setup and teardown. Its shallow design makes it ideal for equipment where quick access to controls and connections is necessary, such as live events, touring productions, and mobile broadcasting setups.

Front Opening Flight Cases
A front-opening style flight case is a protective transport case designed with a removable or hinged front panel, allowing easy access to the contents without needing to lift them out from the top.
This type of case is popular as production cases, instrument vaults, and to house machinery. The design allows for easy access and, when needed, the removal of heavy objects, as well as items that need to remain in place during use.
