HOW TO MEASURE GUIDE

Made in Britain, our screen flight cases are custom-built to your specifications.

When ordering certain items from us, our design team may request confirmation or additional dimensions from you.

This guide will provide tips on how best to measure and provide those dimensions to us.

Why would we ask this?

Don't you have these on file? Well in most instances we do!

The dimensions we keep on file are often taken from the manufacturer's website, which can fluctuate or be outdated with newer models. Additional parts such as stands and mounts may differ to what information we have as well.

As the design of the case is also affected by the shape and size of each screen, these additional measurements help us during the design process.

We find it is good practice to double-check with a tape measure (or whatever you have to hand) as this ensures your new Flight Case has a perfect fit.

Tips When Measuring your Screen

Below are the details of the dimensions we request before manufacturing your new flight case.

A) Width of the screen screen

If the screen has a stand: B) Overall height including the stand with the screen at its lowest natural position

If the screen has no stand: C) Height of the screen only.

If the screen has a stand or mount (as shown below): D) Depth of the screen from the furthest points

If the screen has no stand: E) Depth of the screen only

If the mount is attached please include the overall depth of the screen and mount (overall depth)

F) Measuring 250mm in from the edge of the screen, supply the depth of the screen at this point.

Important Notes:

Where possible we ask that the dimensions be sent in mm's.

Dimensions supplied will need to include any protrusions, handles or screws.

Failure to include these will result in your case being too small/tight.

It is also important to measure your case whilst on a hard flat surface for a more accurate reading.

Please only provide the dimensions of the item itself. We always add a small amount of tolerance so excess dimensions may result in the case being too big/too loose.

The screen should be in its lowest and most natural position when possible. This includes the screen being flat (where possible).

We recommend using a tape measure (try to avoid using a ruler and adding them up).

Having the correct dimensions ensures your case has a perfect fit and is ready for use upon arrival.

What if my screen has a stand?

We can still offer a case to suit. As above, we simply require other dimensions when including a stand.

As all our flight cases are manufactured in our UK workshop we can build to any shape or size.

My Screen Make & Model is not listed, do you make a case for my screen?

Yes, all of our flight cases are manufactured in our UK workshop, so can be manufactured for any screen.

If your screen is not listed you can visit our Range of Screen Cases and pick the most suitable size (we ask for make and model after the order confirmation) or email us.

We do our best to keep our listings updated with the latest brands & you can view our current range of Screen Flight Cases here.
